-Prextherm RSW range consists in pressurised boilers with reversal flame technology.

-The verified geometry of the boiler body, providing the optimum ratio of the volume of the combustion chamber and the surface area of heat exchange.

-6 bars maximum operation for a high thermal efficiency.

-Prextherm RSW is supplied either with a thermostatic control panel or with an evolved version, featuring EBM system (Efficient Boiler Management), i.e. an electronic controller which offers a customisable management of the boiler and circuit.

-In RSW boilers, the flame burns in a cylindrical chamber with a continuous bottom, reflecting from which, the flame returns to the door with a burner. This increases the flame residence time in the heat generator and increases the heat exchange between flue gases and water.

-The tube bundle has been positioned above the combustion chamber, in order flues evacuation occurs through a hot environment, thus preventing the formation of condensate.

-The burner is not located strictly in the center of the combustion chamber, but is somewhat shifted down. This solution allows you to reverse the direction of the flame and reduce the aerodynamic resistance of the chimney. As a result, the operating range of the heat generator is expanded.

-The combustion chamber is completely cooled (even in the back side); this implies a greater heat exchange surface and improves a uniform distribution of the thermal load onto combustion chamber’s walls.

-The boiler body is fully insulated with a 80 mm thick layer of glass wool, which is externally lined by a sturdy layer of tearproof material.

-A reflection plate is installed next to the water return pipe from the water circuit. It improves the circulation of cold water towards the bottom of the boiler. This solution provides a uniform distribution of the coolant on the heat exchange surface of the boiler, increasing the efficiency of heat transfer and reducing thermal stresses in materials.

-New turbulators have been studied specifically for Prextherm RSW. Besides improving flues thermal exchange, they grant smaller pressure drops than other solutions.

-The front door of the boiler is equipped with a new locking and centering mechanism, which is particularly robust. This mechanism avoids leakage of incandescent flue gases into the environment and provides protection against ignition and thermal deformation of materials over time.

-The hinge thread allows you to adjust the position of the door with an accuracy of several microns, and this operation can be performed by one operator.

-The flue pipe protrudes several millimeters beyond the plane of the rear plate, which raises the temperature in the weld zone. This avoids the formation of condensation and, therefore, corrosion of materials.

-Front door has been studied with a reversible opening, both righthand or left-hand. The purpose is improving flexibility in positioning the generator in the boiler room and moreover helping inspection and maintenance operation on the boiler’s combustion chamber.

-The door not only seals the combustion chamber, but is also part of the chimney.

-Special attention is paid to thermal insulation, which guarantees minimal heat loss and maximum resistance to high temperatures.
